As the ICT manager of Pink Hippo Company , I deeply apologise for the late update. Late = 3 months. Date : 20th April 2010 Venue : IBM office at Bandar Utama. Time : 8.30am - 12.00pm. Purpose : 1) To allow the YE members to receive hands-on approach on how a company works. 2) To learn how to the working environment. 3) To understand more about the organization chart in a business company 4) To realise how delicious the food IBM had offered. We went by bus , to the main office. EACH YE member was given a tag as a visitor identity. We proceeded into the different departments such as the Finance Department , Human Resource Department , and even the Managing Director's office! :D Due to the proverb , " A picture is worth a thousand words" , I shall let the pictures speak. - Logo Meaning -
The hippo represents resilience, strength and steadiness. The hippo portrays our company as friendly, and environmentally conscious. Pink and Black? Pink is the colour of happiness, and is seen as lighthearted. It appeals to the younger generation and also embodies our company logo. Black symbolizes the beginning of true achievement, understanding and wisdom, and a unity with oneself as well as others The mouth of the Hippo :- The mouth of the hippo symbolises our smiles and the smiles of the customers of the company. - Our Vision -

 The Young Enterprise (YE) Program was introduced to Malaysian secondary schools in 1989 by the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce to give an opportunity to learn about business though hands-on experience. YE is known to lead young members through the complete life-cycle of a company , from capitalization to voluntary liquidation. This is to allow students of 16 years old to learn more about the corporate world , thus making things easier for the future. - Amcham Malaysia -
